John M. Westbrook, President

John M. Westbrook is the majority
stockholder and president of Global Power Inc. established in November 2009 as
a Tennessee chartered corporation dedicated to the provisioning of DC & AC
power quality solutions for mission critical and essential business enterprises
and for federal, state and municipal agencies. Westbrook also serves as advisory business counsel, board
member, and resident DC power systems specialist for Global Power Services,
Inc.
Previous to the creation of
Global Power Inc., Westbrook was the majority stockholder and president of
Global Power Services, Inc. from Feburary1998 to March 2010. The corporation
specializes in critical DC power systems implementation services primarily for
the wire line and wireless telecommunications industry.
From December 1986 to January
1997, Westbrook served as Executive Vice President of two entrepreneurial
Tennessee chartered corporations, one of which was tasked with implementing
turnkey EF&I AC power quality solutions for a diverse cross section of
mission critical business enterprises and federal, state and municipal
agencies, and the other corporation was dedicated to distributing
Uninterruptible Power Systems to Value Added Resellers (VARS) and large federal
& corporate buyers.
Westbrook was also employed by
RCA / CYLIX from December 1980 to December 1986, as a senior facilities
engineer responsible for corporate voice & data communications,
environmental control, and critical power systems operations. This RCA
subsidiary was a satellite data transmission enterprise headquartered in
Memphis, TN with remote earth stations located across the contiguous 48 states.
Prior to his position with RCA /
CYLIX, Westbrook had been employed by ITT / FELEC Services, as a power systems
specialist in the country of
Greenland, the FAA Air Route Traffic Control Center in Memphis as a power
utilities mechanic, and by a Memphis based Cummins Engine Company franchise as a Class A
diesel-electric power generation mechanic.

During his lengthy military
career, Westbrook was engaged in numerous operational activities inclusive of
assignments with an Air Force combat communications group in the Philippines
during the Vietnam War, an Air Force global combat air resupply group and
numerous Coast Guard search and rescue, maritime law enforcement, hazardous material
response and natural disaster responses including the Midwest floods of 1993
and Hurricane Katrina operations in 2005
